Back Home Farm
United States Cedar City, UT 84721 Heidi King 435 865-7007 backhomefarm@hotmail.com http://www.backhomefarm.vpweb.com |
We are a small, family farm located north of Cedar City, Utah. We offer farm fresh eggs, raw honey, flowers, herbs and produce grown with natural and sustainable farming methods. Our chickens are fed organic grain and garden produce. They are often free-ranged, eating grass, seeds, and bugs. Sometimes, we have duck eggs available, which are green or cream colored. Our honey comes from our hard working bees. We use natural methods, so the honey will be free from chemicals and antibiotics. We don't use pesticides or preservatives on our flowers (which are used on the flowers purchased in stores). Chicks, ducklings, and rabbits are sometimes available to purchase, at the farm. We look forward to being a part of your healthy, local, food choices. |

Beehive Condo Cooperative
885 East Alpine Blvd Alpine, UT 84004 Prenten Frazier 801 472-6693 |
Our Utah family bee business is born through an antique legacy of pioneer beekeeping. We love what we do and do it different with nearly 2000 colonies surrounding Alpine. Our honey bees dot the Wasatch-front collecting nectars from an expanded variety of the local Utah flora. Our honey is also "cold extracted" secreting the most nutritionally complete honey possible to obtain. During harvest, no artificial heat is used while transferring honey from hive to jar. This is a slower and more difficult method for producers. Why do we do it? Questions are usually settled when our Alpine Honey is tasted and compared. |
